  • Over recent years, the capital of the Haute-Savoie department  has developed particular expertise in animated film production. 
    The festival celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2020 and pays tribute to African animation.

Angers, capital of the plant world

  • Angers has been the home of specialist plant expertise for the last two centuries. In 2022, the city will host the International Horticultural Congress, which is expected to attract over 3,500 participants.  Inaugurated in Anjou in the 1980s, the Salon du Végétal trade fair highlights the vibrancy of the horticultural sector and its innovations. The 2020 event has just come to a successful close.

Dunkirk, a regional centre for energy excellence

  • The Dunkirk region is one of the 24 winners of the “Innovating Territories” initiative launched as part of France’s Investment Master Plan designed to develop at scale the innovations that meet the transformation needs identified by local actors. The 22nd European Energy Transition Conference will be held in Dunkirk from 12 – 14 January 2021.

  • A spotlight was trained on Health, Greater Nancy Metropolis centre of excellence, by the City Healthcare trade fair organised in partnership with Destination Nancy. The latest event was held on 30 September and 1 October 2020 at the Prouvé Conference Centre, attracting both professional visitors and members of the general public.
